NRSWA Signing Lighting & Guarding ReAssessment
After successfully completing the course the NRSWA operative or supervisor will have been reassessed with the skills to carry out streetworks to the standards required by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
You will renew your skills to be able to pass the multiple-choice questions required for reassessment.
You will understand how to undertake the multiple-choice questions required on each unit.
On successful completion of the course, delegates are awarded an SQA Certificate in the relevant unit taken and SWQR Card.

- Legal requirements
- Types of work
- Determine of walkways, traffic lanes and safety lamps
- Positioning and operation of temporary traffic signals
- Methods of traffic control
- Speed control
- Planning of Signing, Lighting and Guarding
Work near tramways and railways
- Safe working practices
Delegates must hold an SWQR Card in the unit being reassessed.

On successful completion of the course delegates are awarded an SQA Certificate in the relevant unit taken and SWQR Card.
