The course is not designed to turn delegates into ‘safety experts’, but focus on why health and safety is important to the individual, and how they can make a real difference to the welfare of themselves and their co-workers through changing their behaviour.
You can choose to receive the IOSH Working safely certificate and/or the IOSH safety passport as proof of your qualification.
IOSH training courses, leading to IOSH qualifications are highly respected both within the UK and elsewhere, with 120,000 individuals taking IOSH training courses each year. The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health claim the position of Europe’s leading body for health and safety professionals. They are an independent and not-for-profit organisation, aiming to regulate and steer the profession, maintaining standards and providing impartial, authoritative guidance on health and safety issues.

Assessment takes place with a 10 question, multiple-choice assessment paper and 3 hazard spotting exercises.
